Investment Director
Alan Harnedy
Alan manages the company’s existing allocations and seeks new opportunities for investment.
Alan moved to Malta in 2017, joined the company in 2019 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020.
Prior to joining the company Alan worked as a financial trader with Geneva Trading (Dublin and Chicago) and traded his own account with Oak Futures/Marex in London. Prior to working in the financial industry, he worked in engineering roles in the technology sector.
Alan has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Dublin City University (DCU), an MBA from INSEAD and a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Financial Controller
Amanda Miceli Demajo
Amanda is responsible for preparing the company accounts and tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
She previously worked in the tax and audit service lines of PwC Malta, and as a Financial Controller in the Aviation Industry.
In 2020 she moved to the Investment Management Industry and joined the Family Office as Financial Controller.
Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) Degree from the University of Malta in 2010. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Director
Orm Kenny
Orm leads Fastnet Capital’s Irish property investment initiatives. He is a qualified solicitor, having previously worked in commercial and property practice before joining Fastnet Capital. Prior to his legal career, Orm excelled in the logistics industry, serving as General Manager for MSAS (now DHL) in the Southeast region.

Office Manager
Caragh O'Driscoll
Caragh joined Fastnet Capital in early 2024 as the company Personal Assistant. With a background as a Director of her own small business and a Senior Account Manager in the dynamic world of advertising, Caragh brings a wealth of experience in client relations, project management, and creative problem-solving to the table.

Chairman and Principal
Ulric Kenny
As principal of Fastnet Capital since its establishment in 2006, Ulric leads overall investment strategy and manages its direct private company investments.
He is currently chairman of Yuno Energy, non-executive director at Dídean and a board member of Concern Worldwide.
He was a co-founder of Ion Equity in 2000, and led its investments in SWS Energy, SouthWestern and Ocean Media Group. Ulric trained as a chartered accountant in PricewaterhouseCoopers in Waterford from 1991 before working for the firm in Toronto and then London, where he specialised in transaction services.
